Ballantrae is a master-planned community of about 1,000 homes on over 400 acres in Land O’ Lakes. It’s located about a mile and a half east of the Veterans’ Expressway.

If you take a drive through the neighborhood, you’re likely to see neighbors taking a leisurely stroll around a picturesque lake, or riding bikes along the scenic trail.

Amenities include an enormous community pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground with jungle gym, a volleyball court, and a gorgeous clubhouse.

Numerous schools are in the area, including Oakstead Elementary, Charles S. Rushe Middle, Sunlake High School, and the charter school Imagine at Land O’ Lakes. Many pre-schools, private schools, and daycare facilities are nearby as well.

There’s plenty to do nearby. 14 golf courses are within about a 10-mile drive, and several parks are close- including Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park, which is an 8,000 acre regional park that has picnic shelters, hiking, biking, and equestrian trails, camping, and a paved 6.7-mile trail that connects to the 42-mile Suncoast Trail.

If you like to eat out, you’ll love living here. From all kinds of fast food to seafood, Italian, Thai, or Japanese- there’s a wide variety to sample.

Like to shop until you drop? The new Tampa Premium Outlets mall is only about 10 miles away. There are also department stores, grocery stores, and pharmacies just minutes away.

Home choices include town-homes or single-family homes with a variety of floor plans available. Sizes typically range from about 1,300 square feet to around 3,000 square feet.
